Weekly Shonen Jump - Slam Dunk: The First & Final Chapter
Inoue on Slam Dunk’s ending, “I really hate the type of storyline where only the main character gets to win, win, win in order to push the story forward. I did decide beforehand that Shohoku would win. But when I was actually drawing it out, I became so emotionally invested in the opponents and it felt awful depicting their loss. I got the sense that manga is an incredible thing as we reached the final chapter of the story - the people who were depicted in the series still continued living their lives, just that it wasn't depicted. In fact, those characters are still living their lives today.”
Condition: Good
The first chapter carries more of the damage. The corner spine is a bit torn, and the top right corner has a crease. There is also some staining on the back cover and water spots in differents parts of the book. The final chapter is in very good condition. No noticeable issues.
