Richard Sala - Delphine
Richard Sala takes the tale of Snow White and stands it on its head, retelling it from Prince Charming's perspective (the unnamed traveler) in a contemporary setting. The prince has many flashbacks to his college sweetheart Delphine, who left school to take care of her ailing father. After not hearing from her, he decides to track her down and find her, but he doesn't expect to wind up on a horrifying journey that includes witches, creepy hermits, zombie-ish dwarves, and more. When he finally finds Delphine, the result is horrifying. Most of the book is done in a shade of sepia which loans the story a dark mood. There are, of course, beautiful full-color images at the start of each chapter with the cover design itself being a visual treat (trees that look like fingers reaching out to grab Delphine).
Condition: Good
The overall structure of the books is in very good condition. The signs of wear occur mostly in each of the corners of the book. The spine looks quite nice as well. Again, general signs of wear exist on the top and bottom of the spine.
